Overview

Historical Pricing lets sales representatives see how a product has been priced in the past — without leaving the Go Autonomous platform. When processing a quote, you can instantly look up what a product was previously quoted or purchased for, by which customer or vendor, and at what price. This keeps the entire quoting process inside Go Autonomous, so you never need to switch back to your ERP to check pricing history.

Accessing historical pricing

When Historical Pricing is enabled for your organisation, a green indicator appears on each product line in the cart view in Flow. Click the indicator on any product line to open the pricing history for that product.
The indicator is shown at the organisation level — if it appears on one product line, it appears on all of them.

Snapshot view

The snapshot view gives you a quick visual overview of pricing trends for the selected product.
  • Chart — shows price over time, giving you an at-a-glance view of how the price has moved.
  • Toggle between Price and Cost — switch between sale prices (what customers were quoted or charged) and cost prices (what your company paid to a vendor). If only one type is configured, the toggle is hidden.

Filters in the snapshot view

Full table view

Click Show table to expand the full table view beneath the chart. You can drag the corner to make the panel larger. The table shows each historical entry with the date, price, entity (customer or vendor), and any additional fields configured by your administrator (such as discount, lead time, or conditions). Depending on your organisation’s configuration, you may see one or two tables:
  • One table — either sales pricing or cost pricing is configured, but not both.
  • Two tables — both sales pricing and cost pricing are configured. Each table has its own set of filters.

Table controls

  • Filter by custom fields — filter the table by any additional data columns your administrator has configured.
  • Filter by price range — narrow results to a specific price range.
  • Lock a column — click to lock a column; it moves to the first position in the table. Unlock it to return it to its original place.
  • Show / hide columns — toggle which columns are visible. Your preferences are saved and remembered the next time you open the table.
Use the customer filter in combination with the date range to quickly see what you last quoted a specific customer, and at what price.
