Overview

Tags let you label incoming requests with keywords that help your team organize, filter, and prioritize work. Tags can be applied automatically based on content in the email or document, or assigned manually by your team.

How tags work

When Go Autonomous processes an incoming request, it scans the content for keywords you’ve defined. If a match is found, the corresponding tag is automatically applied to the request. Tags appear alongside the request in Workstation, making it easy to spot specific types of requests at a glance.

The Tags page

Navigate to Administration > Company Settings > Tags to manage your keyword tags. The page lists all configured tags with their associated keywords and rules.

Create a new tag

1

Open Tags

Navigate to Administration > Company Settings > Tags.
2

Add a new tag

Click the add button to create a new tag.
3

Name the tag

Enter a clear, descriptive name for the tag (e.g., “Urgent,” “Expedited Shipping,” “Returns”).
4

Define keywords

Enter the keywords or phrases that should trigger this tag. When any of these keywords appear in an incoming request, the tag is automatically applied.
5

Save

Save the tag. It starts matching against new incoming requests immediately.
Use specific keywords to avoid false positives. Instead of a single word like “rush,” use phrases like “rush order,” “rush delivery,” or “rush shipment” to ensure tags are applied accurately.

Using tags in your workflow

Tags are most powerful when combined with other platform features:
  • Filtering in Workstation — filter the request list by tag to focus on specific request types.
  • Prioritization — use tags like “Urgent” or “Priority” to help your team identify requests that need immediate attention.
  • Reporting — export tagged data to analyze trends (e.g., how many urgent requests you receive per month).

Managing existing tags

From the Tags page, you can:
  • Edit — update tag names or modify the keywords that trigger them.
  • Delete — remove tags that are no longer needed. Existing requests that already have the tag retain it.
  • Review — check how many requests each tag has been applied to.
Tags are applied during processing. Changes to tag keywords only affect new incoming requests — they don’t retroactively apply to previously processed requests.
