Overview
The Copilot is an AI-powered assistant that appears as a side panel in Flow. It guides you through the review process by presenting extracted data as a series of questions, helping you verify and correct information step by step rather than scanning the entire document at once.Open the Copilot
The Copilot is available from the menu bar at the top of Flow — click the Copilot button to slide the drawer open on the left side of the screen. How the Copilot works
When you open a request in Flow, the Copilot presents a timeline of extraction items:- Greeting and intent — the detected request type and a summary of what was found.
- Extraction questions — each extracted field is presented as a question-answer pair. The AI shows what it found (the answer) and asks you to confirm or correct it.
- Progress indicator — the footer shows how many questions remain, so you can track your progress through the review.
Answering questions
For each extraction question, you can:- Confirm the extracted value if it’s correct.
- Select from options when the system suggests multiple possible values.
- Type a correction using the input field if the extracted value is wrong.
- Use quick actions to perform contextual operations like:
- Postpone the question to come back to it later.
- Delete a product row that shouldn’t be in the order.
- Undo a previous action.
- Apply a value from the source document.
- Highlight the corresponding product row in the document viewer.
Address handling
When the Copilot reaches address fields, it provides specialized tools:- Address suggestions — pre-matched address options from your reference data.
- Address form — a structured form for entering or correcting address components individually.
- Map integration — visual address verification when available.
System messages
If the system detects issues during processing (information, warnings, or errors), a notification indicator appears in the Copilot. Click it to scroll directly to the relevant message.Flow Mate tile
When Flow Mate is active for a request, an additional tile appears in the Copilot timeline showing Flow Mate’s processing status and results.Manual requests
If a request is set to manual status (handled outside of Flow), the Copilot shows a simplified view explaining that the request is being processed manually. You can click Turn on to switch it back to active processing, which moves the request to a “needs action” state and enables the full Copilot experience.Navigating between Copilot and Flow
The Copilot integrates with other Flow features:- Product Cart — clicking a field in the product cart can navigate you to the corresponding Copilot question.
- Document Viewer — the Copilot highlights the relevant section in the document when you’re reviewing a question.
- Extraction Menu — selections in the extraction menu update the Copilot context.
Aggregate tiles
For questions where multiple fields belong together — like a product number with its description and unit — the Copilot can show grouped option cards instead of asking for each field separately. See Aggregate tiles for the full breakdown. What’s next
- Aggregate tiles for applying a bundle of related fields in one click.
- Review and confirm orders in Flow for the complete order processing workflow.
- Work with the product cart for managing extracted product data.
