Permission levels by product

Overview

When you enable a product in a user group’s Products tab, the access level you choose determines what members can do in that product. This page is the full reference for what each level means in practice.

Flow

Flow access is split into two scopes: requests inside the user’s assigned area / intent / inbox, and requests outside of it.

Inside area, intent, or inbox

Permission	User experience
Viewer	Same view as a secondary viewer on a request — can see everything, leave comments, but not confirm. A “view only” banner is shown.
Editor	Full access — review, edit, and confirm requests.

Outside area or intent

Permission	User experience
No access	A 404 page appears if the user reaches the URL of a mail outside their area.
Viewer	View-only access to mails outside the assigned area or intent.

Workstation

Workstation visibility is filtered by area, intent, or inbox depending on how the user’s group is scoped on the Spaces tab.

Permission	User experience
In-scope mails only	Only mails within the user’s assigned area, intent, or inbox are visible. Sidebar filters also hide options unique to scopes the user can’t access (e.g. a domain unique to another area).
All mails	Standard experience — every mail across the organisation is visible.
No access	The Workstation entry is removed from the navigation, and the URL returns a 404.

Pulse

Permission	User experience
Viewer	Can browse and inspect anything in Pulse, but cannot edit.
Editor	Full edit access.
No access	Pulse is hidden from the navigation.

Axon

Permission	User experience
Viewer	Can browse and inspect anything in Axon, but cannot edit.
Editor	Full edit access.
No access	Axon is hidden from the navigation.

Access Control (administration pages)

The Access Control section supports per-page levels. Set them on the Administration access tab of a user group.

Users page

Permission	User experience
Viewer	Can open the Users page, view profiles, and see each user’s effective permissions. Cannot invite, edit, delete, or reassign users.
Editor	Full access — invite users, edit profiles, delete users, and change group memberships.
No access	The Users page is hidden from the navigation; the URL returns a 404.

User Groups page

Permission	User experience
Viewer	Can browse the User Groups page and open the details sheet on any group. Cannot create, edit, copy, or delete groups.
Editor	Full access — create, edit, copy, and delete groups, and manage their memberships.
No access	The User Groups page is hidden from the navigation; the URL returns a 404.
