Overview
The Zendesk connector lets Go Autonomous communicate with your Zendesk instance. Use it when your customer service team works in Zendesk and you want Go Autonomous to exchange data with it.Prerequisites
- An authenticator with your Zendesk credentials.
- Edit access to Company Settings > Integrations. Users with viewer access can see the configuration but can’t change it.
Set up a Zendesk connector
1
Open Connectors
Navigate to Administration > Company Settings > Connectors.
2
Select Zendesk
Find Zendesk in the Available Connectors section and click the card. The configuration dialog opens.
3
Enter connection details
Fill in the required fields:
- Name — a clear name for the connector (e.g., “Zendesk Production”).
- Base URL — your Zendesk instance URL, e.g.
https://your-company.zendesk.com. - Authenticator — select the authenticator that holds your Zendesk credentials.
4
Save
Save the connector. It appears in the Active Connectors section.
Test the connection
When you open an active Zendesk connector to view or edit it, a Test connection button appears next to the authenticator field.- Enter or update the Base URL and Authenticator.
- Click Test connection. Go Autonomous attempts to reach your Zendesk instance with the selected credentials.
- The result shows next to the button: Connection successful or Connection failed.
The Save button is disabled while a test is running. If you change the base URL or authenticator after a test, the result resets and you should test again.
Edit a Zendesk connector
- Open the connector from the Active Connectors section.
- Update the name, base URL, or authenticator.
- Test the connection to confirm the new settings work.
- Save your changes.
