Overview

When processing large documents — like a 75-page tender PDF where only three pages are relevant — you don’t need to manually delete unwanted products from the cart after the fact. Instead, you can tell Go Autonomous upfront which pages and attachments to include, and it will extract only from those. Excluded pages and attachments are ignored during extraction. Any data already captured from them is removed from the product cart, summary, and Copilot immediately — no re-simulation required. Everything is non-destructive: you can re-include a page or attachment at any time and the data will be restored.

Exclude an entire attachment

To toggle an entire attachment on or off, open the Attachments dropdown in the toolbar (the paperclip icon). Each attachment in the list has a toggle switch on the right.
  • Switch on — the attachment is included in extraction.
  • Switch off — the attachment is excluded. Its filename and page count appear dimmed. All data captured from it is removed from the cart, summary, and Copilot.
When an attachment is excluded, the extraction menu is hidden for that document. You cannot create new extractions from an excluded attachment until it is re-enabled.

Select specific pages

For multi-page attachments, you can choose exactly which pages to include rather than toggling the whole document. Click the page counter (e.g. 22 / 56) in the toolbar to open the Page Selector. From here you have several ways to build your selection:

Tap individual pages

The grid shows a numbered button for every page in the document. Click any page number to toggle it on or off.
  • Active pages — shown with a solid blue background. These will be included in extraction.
  • Excluded pages — shown dimmed in grey. These will be ignored.
All pages are active by default. You turn off the ones you don’t need.

Click and drag

Click and drag across multiple page buttons to activate or deactivate them in one sweep. The direction — on or off — is set by the first cell you touch. This is the fastest way to exclude a large contiguous block, like a 20-page appendix.

Type a page range

Use the range input at the top of the popover to enter specific pages or ranges, for example:
1-10, 15, 20-30
Click Add Range to activate those pages, or use it to target a specific set without clicking through the grid one by one.

Select All / Clear All

Use the Select all button to re-include every page, or Clear all to exclude everything at once. Clear All is useful when you only need a handful of pages from a large document — clear everything, then click just the pages you want.

Live counter

The footer shows Included: N and Excluded: N as you make changes, so you always know how many pages will be included before you commit.

Applying your selection

Click Apply to confirm. Go Autonomous immediately updates the product cart, summary, and Copilot to reflect only the included pages — no simulation needed.

Re-including pages or attachments

Exclusions are never permanent. At any point you can:
  • Turn the attachment switch back on to re-include the whole document.
  • Open the page selector and toggle excluded pages back on, then click Apply.
If you excluded pages before running a simulation, you can toggle them back on afterwards to include their data. Likewise, if you included pages during simulation, you can exclude them after without re-uploading.

Effect on the extraction menu

If you try to highlight text on an excluded page, the extraction menu will show:
“You can’t create extractions on this page because it was excluded. Include it again using page selection in the top bar.”
Re-include the page first, then proceed with extraction as normal.
