Overview

Stocklines are a sub-product viewer built into each product line in the Flow cart. When a product has stocklines configured, you can expand the product row to see them inline, or open the full stocklines dialog to browse, filter, and select from the complete list. Stocklines are used for different purposes depending on how your organisation has set them up — common examples include stock split by warehouse or expiry date, bill-of-materials components, and pricing variants for quotes.

The inline stocklines view

When a product row is expanded in the cart, any attached stocklines appear beneath it as numbered sub-rows (1, 2, 3…). Each row shows the fields your admin has configured to display in the inline view. From the inline view you can:
  • Edit field values — click any editable field to update it directly. Supported inputs include text, numbers, dates, toggles, and reference data lookups.
  • Delete a stockline — hover over the numbered circle to reveal a delete icon, then click to remove that sub-row.

The stocklines dialog

For a full view of all available stocklines, click the layers icon badge that appears on the product row. This opens the stocklines dialog, titled “Stocklines available for [product name]”. The dialog displays all stocklines as a table. Each field configured for the table view appears as a column. You can:
  • Sort — click any column header to sort ascending or descending.
  • Filter — use the Filters button to narrow results. Numeric fields use a range slider; non-numeric fields use a multi-select dropdown.
  • Toggle column visibility — use the Columns button to show or hide individual columns.

Selectable stocklines

When stocklines are selectable, a checkbox column appears on the left. Use the checkboxes to select the sub-products you want to include. The Select button at the bottom shows the total quantity summed across your selection — click it to apply your choices and close the dialog. To deselect a previously selected stockline, uncheck it before clicking Select.

Read-only stocklines

When stocklines are configured as read-only, no checkboxes appear and the table is display-only. Use this view to inspect sub-product data (e.g. reviewing bill-of-materials components or comparing pricing options) without making a selection. A Close button dismisses the dialog.

When no stocklines are available

If a product has no stocklines, the layers icon badge does not appear on the product row. Depending on the scenario, you may need to:
